Anyone ever gone?? I might do it next week, wanted to for a long time and now I got the chance.
I've never gone myself. I don't know that I would though because I hate being suspended in anything. Like for instance, and I know this is with water and skydiving is with air but it's still the same to me, when I was just swimming across a pool, even when wearing a lifejacket and trying to be calm, I still freaked out when I wasn't at the other side when I thought I should be. It turned out I was going diagonally across. But yeah anyways, being in the middle of nowhere is one reason, and falling would also scare the crap out of me.

yeah, funny thing is I have a huge fear of water but not of heights.
I have a fear of drowning because I almost did once, and I dream of it, but of heights? Nah! I would love skydiving/bungee jumping any ol' day! You should do it D! *Smile.*
yeah, ss I'm in the same boat, I got pushed off a raft when I was about 9 and didn't know how to swimm and well nearly was history. it's wierd but I just don't like not being able to touch, I am ok if I am in a life jacket but even that takes me some getting used to! The deal with the sky diving is this, My gf and I are going to Vegas next week with her family and her dad said he'd pay for it if I did it cause he just want's the jacket that you get.
He would do it himself but has a medical condition that prevents that. grin, I just want the video. hehe!
Ooohhh funnnhnhnnhnhnnhnnhnnhnhnnhnnh! Um not about the almost drowning that is. Um? When I was six my cousin and older sister and younger sister and family and I were in the community pool at dusk, and I was in the deep deep end on one of those fun noodles, and i slipped off and... um couldnt get outa the water, didnt know how to swim, tried to tread but couldnt get head above water, no one noticed cept for older sis tessa, who thought i was just hunky dory, so she went away, and so i ended up figuring out how to swim and swimming all the way across and when i got out i screamed bloody murder and my mom got pissed... and um after that i didnt know how to swim, it was a god thing i guess, or my adrenaline rather, but i wouldnt let anyone teach me to swim until i figured out when i was 10. i cant swim that well but well enough to save my life...
Waste of time jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft ..give me hand gliding or ice climbing on Ben Nevis...
I'd never do it. Fear of heights and flying.
I always adored water and couldn't wait to learn how to swim. If we have a good summer, I try to get to Glen Douglas. To swim in clean, fresh, water, among the fishes...smile
wow dawson, I say go for it mate, if you want to, then do it. you'll regret it if you don't at least give it a shot. I personally though, hmm, not sure, I use to want to do it as soon as I turned 18, but now that I am over 18, well there's a certain amount of cortiont hat seems to have come with that hehe, so yeah, have a ball mate and I hope you love it, but I'd be saying no straight up I think.
Do it! Doitdoitdoit!! How awesome?! And how often does someone offer to pay for something like that? It's not cheap, and what a rush!! Hehe, in summary, I'd go for it.
